Deduction on SMILE part 2

In my previous post I have given a basic but yet major difference between a FAKE and REAL smile (O!! you didn’t read it, well than please do read it, because half knowledge is more dangerous)

In the previous post we saw that Zygomatic muscle can be controlled consciously and hence are used to create fake smile and orbicularious muscle are controlled unconsciously so they are the signs of real smile. But when one tries to create a intense fake smile the orbicularious muscles near eyes are also pulled and hence makes it difficult to recognize the real smile. Hence we need to go a bit more in detail to observe other signs in order to deduce real smile.

Now tell me which one is real smile and which one is fake one……

I am sure that people who have read the previous post will be immediately able to deduce the real smile. But it is also easy for other people to identify because the signs are easy to see. And many people can come to conclusion that the smile of boy on left side is real. But kids are easy to read and when this situation turns to adult it becomes difficult to deduce the real smile.
So let’s evaluate the above picture and identify the sign of real smile so that it can be used as baseline when we use it on Adults .

In the above image the eyebrows of the boy in left are slightly lowered where as the boy on right who’s smile is fake, his eyebrows are straight. That’s the first clue between real and fake smile.
Also the part below the eyebrows the one colored in green is bulging in real smile and much flat in a fake smile .
NOW the catchy part is that the orbicularious muscle and the zygomatic muscle of both the boy’s are showing same clue because the boy on right has tried to create a intense fake smile and hence if we don’t know the above two clue than we won’t be able to deduce the real and fake smile .

Now the last clue can be taken form the lips when a person is producing a real smile his jaw drops down but the person producing a fake smile produces a straight lip structure as the one made by the boy on right side.
These are the only four major sign to deduce the real and fake smile. Don’t think that it’s easy to deduce real smile from fake smile just because you have read this article. Because these gesture are occurring in micro seconds and only a trained eye like Sherlock Holmes can catch those. Hence you need to practice , the best way to do so is by observing small children while smiling or people on a comedy show.

In my next post I’ll be telling that how smile is not only used to reflect joy but also to reflect irritation and disinterest and some other crazy emotions.
